The PMR Armed Forces are 33 years old

Dear officers, servicemen and veterans

of the Armed Forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

I congratulate you on the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

Created in 1991 by the will of the people, the Armed Forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic have proven their loyalty to the state, gave a worthy rebuff to the enemy and defended the sovereignty of our country. They have been guarding the republic, honestly fulfilling their professional and civic duty, being the guarantor of peace and security of the people of Pridnestrovie for 33 years.

The high professionalism of the Pridnestrovian defenders, as well as their readiness to carry out any tasks, guarantee effective counteraction to attacks on the independence and territorial integrity of our state.

I am confident that the fighting spirit, endurance and sense of patriotism of the personnel will continue to allow the Armed Forces to remain a well-coordinated military structure of the state and to direct all their efforts and skills to maintaining high combat readiness and strengthening the defense capability of our republic, remaining faithful to the oath, charter and honor.

Let me express words of gratitude and respect on this significant day to the veterans of the war and military service, whose invaluable experience contributes to the revival of a sense of patriotism, dignity, pride in their people, the desire to qualitatively master one of the most honorable professions – defender of the Motherland. I sincerely wish all personnel of the Armed Forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic good health, well-being, success in combat training and new achievements in the noble cause of serving the Fatherland!
