There was a meeting of volunteers who assisted citizens in polling stations during the presidential elections in Russia in the central office of "The Obnovlenie" (Renewal). They are volunteers from Tiraspol and Slobodzeya. Many of them participated in such a campaign for the first time. Galina Antyufeeva, who owns the idea of holding a volunteer campaign at the elections, thanked the guys for their productive work.
Galina Antyufeeva, along with a member of the Central Council of the members of "The Obnovlenie" Vasily Morar, presented the children with letters of gratitude.
Chairman of the Youth Parliament Alexander Savich, who, along with his colleagues, was on duty in Tiraspol at polling station No. 8205 in the Palace of the Republic, noted that the volunteer movement in the republic is becoming popular. It is important in his opinion to instill a culture of mutual aid and volunteerism - this will help develop citizenship, social activity among the youth.
The participants of the meeting during the tea-party looked at the story of what kinds of volunteer activities exist in Pridnestrovie today, discussed the prospects of the volunteer movement in the republic. Galina Antyufeeva talked about plans to create a coordinating center under the party that would unite the efforts of volunteer organizations, and expressed the idea of holding a contest among the children for the best sketch of clothes for volunteers.
Andrey Krupko, who has extensive experience in volunteering, described the projects of the volunteer organization "Let's Help Together" - raising funds for the treatment of children, grocery "shelves of good", which are set up to support poor citizens in shops and markets. The next such shelf, at the suggestion of Vasily Moraru, the participants of the meeting decided to establish in the near future in one of the outlets of the village of Karagash in the Slobodzeia district.
