Volunteers are ready to work in the presidential elections in Russia

Representatives of youth organizations of Pridnestrovie, including The Youth Renewal movement, will work as volunteers in the presidential elections in Russia March 18. Such a project is being implemented in the republic for the first time.

young people on the voting day will be on duty near the polling stations and assist voters, especially the elderly and disabled. Volunteers will help low-mobility citizens get out or go into transport, orient themselves on the site, accompany them to the election commission. Volunteers are strictly prohibited from campaigning for any of the candidates, while they can inform the voter about the presence of a stand with information about the candidates.

At the organizational meeting in Tiraspol, volunteers received instructions, distributed polling stations. The young people were greeted by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Pridnestrovie Elena Gorodetskaya and the Vice-Speaker of the Supreme Council, the leader of "Renewal" Galina Antyufeeva.

According to Galina Antyufeeva, the "invaluable experience" that volunteers will receive this Sunday will be useful for young people with participation in any election campaigns in the future.

The children were also reminded that volunteer work in any form is a noble work aimed at creating, for the benefit of society, and, moreover, it is an effective way of self-realization.
