They began to make a new water conduit in the private housing of the Bendery microdistrict Borisovka this summer. It will serve nearly 300 homes. All connections will be made at expense of the State Unitary Enterprise "Water Supply and Sanitation". The problem with the centralized supply of drinking water to this area was helped by Oleg Petrik, Deputy of the Supreme Council for the Borisovsky constitunecy. The Deputy has regularly received appeals from his voters, who live in Serikov, Slavyanskaya, Lev Berg streets since 2016. This is private sector of the Borisovka microdistrict of Bendery. People complained about the lack of water supply and sanitation systems. All private households were connected to the temporary water supply system of the gardening association of the village of Protyagailovka in this area. Therefore, there were always interruptions with water.
A promise to bring water to this district was given by the director of the branch of the State Unitary Enterprise "Water Supply and Sanitation" in 2016. The water supply network was planned to be commissioned in 2017. The residents of Bendery waited for implementation of this plan in 2017 and even in 2019. Despite the active correspondence of Oleg Petrik with the management of Vodokanal, even in the programs of 2020 these works were not indicated. Residents of the outskirts of Bendery could find themselves without drinking water at any moment. As a result, the Deputy of the Supreme Council was able to bring the matter to an end, and the object was included in the investment program of Vodokanal for this year.
According to plans of Vodokanal, the pipeline should be operational by mid-October. The roads where Vodokanal operated are still to be restored. Oleg Petrik has already turned to the road workers and city authorities for a grader to pass through the streets, and, where possible, the road would be asphalted.
