Dear Pridnestrovians!

On behalf of the Parliament of Pridnestrovie and me personally, I congratulate you on the Day for Safety and Health at Work!

This day April 28 is celebrated all around the world. Its goal - is to raise awareness of the scale of injuries and fatalities in the workplace. Day for Safety and Health at Work has been celebrating in Pridnestrovie since 2007, on the one hand as a sign of mourning and remembrance for the people who lost their lives in the workplace, and on the other - as proof of determination to fight for better working conditions and reduce the number of accidents at work.

Reducing of the level of danger of the labor process, occupational injuries, general and occupational diseases - is one of the most important components of the modernization of our economy. Therefore, the established system of occupational safety and health is one of government priorities.

Profile committee of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie paid close attention to the improvement of legal regulation in the sphere of occupational safety and is making every effort to create economic and organizational principles that encourage employers to create healthy and safe workplace.

Let me express my special thanks this festive day to the employees of labor protection system of Pridnestrovie for high professionalism, perseverance and patience and wish health, peace, happiness, prosperity and further success in their important and responsible activities for the benefit of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
