Solemn meeting dedicated to the anniversary of the founding of the PMR was held at the Palace of the Republic

Deputies of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Igor Buga, Ruslan Gareev, Victor Guzun, Ivan Nedelkov, Vadim Kravchuk, Andrey Safonov, Oleg Baev, Oleg Leontiev, Igor Yarych took part in the solemn meeting dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The event was held in the great hall of the Palace of the Republic.

Those invited to the solemn meeting at the Palace of the Republic were greeted by an exhibition of folk art, showing the multinationality of Pridnestrovian culture, as well as an exhibition of the honored artist of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Sergei Panov.

Deputies of the Supreme Council, heads of ministries and departments, heads of state administrations and city and district councils, as well as representatives of public organizations of Pridnestrovie gathered in the great hall of the Palace of the Republic. A film on the big screen was shown at the beginning of the solemn meeting about the history of the creation and formation of the republic, about the present day of Pridnestrovie.

Then – the speech of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Vadim Krasnoselsky and all those present honored with a minute of silence the defenders of Pridnestrovie, who died during the hostilities or died later. The head of state spoke about the genocide of the Pridnestrovian people, outlining its four signs: the removal of the people living in a certain territory from the legal framework; encroachment on history, culture, language; creating unbearable economic conditions; conducting hostilities and organizing terrorist attacks, the press service of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic reports.

The present of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is independence, the future is international recognition Vadim Krasnoselsky is sure. He expressed gratitude to the founders of the republic and everyone who defends its independence and prosperity today, congratulated the Pridnestrovians on the Republic Day, wishing peace.

A concert of the masters of the arts of Pridnestrovie took place after the solemn meeting. Artists of the Pridnestrovian State Choir, the State Symphony Orchestra, the State Dance and Folk Music Ensemble "Viorica" ​​and other vocalists, dancers and musicians performed on the stage.
