The President Vadim Krasnoselsky continued to hold traditional meetings with the public. This time the dialogue was attended by leaders and representatives of such authoritative public organizations as the Union of Defenders of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the Union of Women of Pridnestrovie, PCI, representatives of national communities. Among the participants of a frank conversation about the current state of the republic and parliamentarians there are the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, the head of the Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy Igor Buga.
There was plenty of topics for general discussion. The dialogue between the government and civil society was built in the “question-answer” format. The first one was asked by Sergei Kalynedelya, chairman of the Gagauz Union of Pridnestrovie. He was interested in whether the practice of admission to the Tiraspol Suvorov school of immigrants from Gagauzia would be continued. The question received the affirmative answer of the President.
Since the majority of official receptions sitting in the hall of the House are directly related to the events of the 1992, this topic was raised more than once. Igor Dudkevich, a former commander of the engineer-sapper battalion deployed in Parkany, petitioned the head of state to confer on this locality the honorary title of military glory. On June 19–20, 1992, 960 inhabitants of this village got under arms. Noticing that there are quite a few villages in the republic where active military operations were conducted to defend Pridnestrovie, Vadim Krasnoselsky promised "to listen to opinions, study the issue and make a decision".
Veteran defenders raised in their appeals to the head of state the subject of granting and operating privileges. Their entire list, especially those that were introduced by the decisions of the Supreme Council in the last two years, the head of state listed. Recipients of social benefits include people with disabilities, combatants in Pridnestrovie, Afghanistan and other local conflicts, widows and parents of the victims. The cost of providing social benefits is for the state budget. This topic was continued by Deputy of the Supreme Council, Chairman of the Pridnestrovian Association of Afghanistan War Veterans, Igor Buga.
The issues of labor and patriotic upbringing of the younger generation, improvement of living conditions of Pridnestrovians, teaching the history of the Pridnestrovianhistory in schools and creating a single textbook on this subject, implementing activities in the Year of Equal Opportunities, providing the defenders of Pridnestrovie with the housing currently being created development of Pridnestrovie for the next eight years, etc.
The next meeting of the President is scheduled with members of the deliberative meeting of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council.
