Vladimir Buchka was re-elected as the Chairman of the Union of defenders of the PMR

There was a report-elective conference of the public organization "Republican Union of defenders of Pridnestrovie" in Tiraspol. The capital was attended by chairmen and members of city unions. Participation in the conference was attended by President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, head of the government Alexander Martynov. Before the beginning of the conference, the participants honored the memory of all those who died during the years of the military aggression of Moldova. The delegation of defenders went to the capital's Memorial of Glory to lay flowers to the plates of the dead heroes.

Addressing the defenders, President Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked them for their contribution to the formation and development of the republic. The President noted that defenders actively interact with both the President and the Parliament. Such cooperation gives good results. Great role of members of a public organization, according to the President is in the ideological education of the younger generation.

Another important step taken in this direction is the introduction from the year 2020 of the compulsory history exam for school leavers. Vadim Krasnoselsky is sure, along with knowledge of physics, chemistry or foreign languages, students should learn the history.

Later, the leaders of the republic presented medals to the members of the public organization "25 years of repulse the act of the military aggression of the Republic of Moldova against Pridnestrovie". Chairman of the Republican Union of defenders of Pridnestrovie Vladimir Buchka read out a report on the main directions of the organization's work over the past two years. During the reporting period, 58 meetings of presidiums were held, at which 234 issues were considered.

The last issue of the conference was the election of the chairman of the Union. Vladimir Buchka is the chairman.
