Members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council approved legislations that will be included on the agenda of the plenary meeting. Deputies will consider law-in-draft with amendments to the law "On local authorities, local self-government and state administration in the PMR". This is an initiative of the Bendery City Council of People's Deputies. The document will be considered in the first reading. We are talking about the official publication of legal acts of local authorities. According to the current legislation, legal acts come into force from the moment of the first publication of their full text in a print publication, the founders of which are bodies of local government or local government. The law-in-draft proposes to change this order. The full text of the new legal act will be available on the official website of local authorities.

According to the authors of the initiative, the procedure they proposed will avoid additional costs when publishing legal acts, and also save time.

At one of the next plenary sessions, deputies will first examine the law-in-draft with amendments and additions to the law “On Appeals of Citizens and Legal Entities, as well as Public Associations”. This is a legislative initiative of the PMR Prosecutor Anatoly Guretsky.

The current version of the law establishes the obligation of state authorities, local self-government, officials, as well as heads of legal entities to consider applications.

At the same time, the law does not establish the obligations of legal entities to consider such types of appeals as complaints. According to the developer, the obligations of legal entities to organize the reception of both written and oral appeals, including the organization of personal reception, are not well defined.

In addition, the current version of the law imposes an obligation to ensure the acceptance of written and electronic applications of applicants exclusively to state authorities and local self-government.

The law-in-draft provides for the imposition of a larger range of responsibilities for organizing the reception of appeals and personal admission to legal entities established by the state or municipalities. For example, state-owned enterprises providing public utilities, municipal housing organizations, state and municipal institutions. It is also proposed to clarify the rules of the law related to the consideration of appeals filed in electronic form.

The Supreme Council in the first reading will consider law-in-draft with amendments to the law "On providing access to information about the activities of the PMR court". Deputies Vitaly Kalin and Vadim Kravchuk took this legislative initiative. They suggest, for better access to information, to oblige the courts of general jurisdiction to create sites, if not already available, or to post information about their activities and the decisions they make on the website of the Judicial Department under the PMR Supreme Court.

The next plenary meeting of the Supreme Council is scheduled for the 26th of February.
