Contributing to the fight against corruption

25.10.2016

The next plenary meeting will be held November 2. A number of legislations aimed at combating corruption is presented for its consideration. The package of legislative initiatives, authored by Deputies Vadim Krasnoselsky and Galina Antyufeeva included 5 legislations. Their main goal is to create a legal framework aimed at preventing and combating corruption in Pridnestrovie.

The need to introduce control over the expenditure of funds by officials is long overdue. The authors propose to introduce a range of activities that affect every area where it is possible manifestation of corruption. The law establishes certain obligations and restrictions for public officials, civil servants, members of the board and PRB Board, as well as their families. They will have to provide information on income and expenditure of the existing property. If the official refuses to provide this information, it can be dismissed.

By analogy with the Russian there are bans for accounts abroad. Vice Speaker enphasized: discussing the document in the second reading mode will take into account all regional features.

Among the proposed measures aimed at the prevention of corruption there is development in the republic of institutions of state and public control over compliance with anti-corruption legislation.
