The Russian Experts Delegation

10.11.2019

The Russian delegation included international relations experts. The dialogue with the Russian guests was held at the Official Reception House. The meeting was also attended by Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov and the PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev.

During the conversation, they focused on the problems of driver licenses, Moldova’s blocking of bank accounts of Pridnestrovian enterprises, as well as issues of obtaining Russian citizenship. According to Yevgeny Primakov, some of these issues can be resolved at the level of inter-parliamentary dialogue between the Pridnestrovie and Russian sides. Some issues require a dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol with Russian and international mediation.

According to Yevgeny Primakov, the current coalition in Moldova should not be decorative-ritual, but more meaningful when Moldovan politicians have goals and objectives related to Moldavian national interests.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed the possibility of obtaining Russian citizenship by people who were born after 1992 and who do not have parents with Russian passports.

According to Yevgeny Primakov, on the issue of maternity capital and the Russian certificate of medical insurance, there can be no separate point solution specifically for Pridnestrovie. If you solve the issue in this way, you will have to adopt amendments to the law so that all citizens of the Russian Federation, wherever they live, have the right to maternity capital and medical insurance. Including those citizens who live, for example, in Canada and the United Arab Emirates.

In addition, the State Duma deputy noted that the Russian parliamentarians have established good contacts with colleagues from the Supreme Council. Communication and discussion of the most pressing issues of Pridnestrovie takes place regularly.
