Development of anti-crisis measures

Extraordinary meeting of the presidium of the parliament was due to the necessity to develop of the state anti-crisis program as soon as possible. Its preparation requires serious joint work of all agencies of state power. The President emphasized the importance of consolidating the efforts of all governments to develop effective measures to stabilize the socio-economic situation in the republic in the course of the meeting that was held this week with the leadership of the Government and the Supreme Council of PMR. The necessity for additional sources of funding to implement the state social obligations, and develop measures for encouraging foreign trade was marked in the course of the. Attention was paid to the issue of energy security of the republic.

Parliamentarians were asked to provide their proposals to resolve the crisis.

In addition, according to the Chairman of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla, public hearings are planned to be held jointly with the Government and other stakeholders (Union of Industrialists Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie, Chamber of Commerce). The main objective of the event - to get the most complete picture of the current situation and collect the maximum possible number of proposals to overcome the crisis and the search for measures to improve the economy of the republic.
