Develop effective mechanisms

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a number of working meetings with representatives of the executive and legislative branches of government. Leaders of the parliament - Speaker Alexander Shcherba, Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Alexander Korshunov took part in the discussion of socially significant issues.

As the press service of the President reports, the main topic of the meeting was the activity of heads of state administrations. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that in the coming year the form of communication with the leaders of cities and districts will be changed. In February, each chapter will report on the results of 2017. The traditional meetings will be monthly with the obligatory invitation of the chairman of the local Council, parliamentarians representing a particular city or district in the Supreme Council, as well as the heads of the legislative and executive branches of government. The heads will inform about the current state of affairs and the dynamics of the indicators. The main ones are incomes and expenditures of the local budget, the availability or absence of arrears on socially protected items, the situation in the housing and communal services sector, as well as information related to the quality of life of citizens: crime, ecological, sanitary and epidemiological, demographic situation.

During the last meeting, they discussed important issues for all cities and regions of the republic. They talked mainly about housing and communal services: improving the efficiency of the work of the Housing and Utilities Units, creating single centers of assistance to citizens, re-equipping trolleybus parks, landscaping, equipping the cities and regions of the republic with outdoor surveillance cameras.

Summing up the meeting, the President noted that lawmakers, the government, local authorities conducted serious work over the past year, including improvement of the housing and communal services.

The interaction between the Supreme Council and the Government of the PMR was the subject of another meeting that the President held. Particular attention was paid to legislative activities. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that, taking into account the economic and social importance of certain legislations, the executive and legislative branches of power should work out a unified and well-grounded position on it. They also spoke about some enterprises of the republic during the meeting: they discussed measures to support, proposed various options for solving existing problems.
