"The Leader-2018" youth meeting was held on the basis of the recreation camp "Victoria". There are more than 80 young people from all cities and regions of Pridnestrovie, representatives of the Russian youth organization “Young Guard of United Russia” among participants of the forum.
The first day of the rally was filled with meetings of future leaders with the current ones. The program of the forum includes a meeting with the President Vadim Krasnoselsky.
The permanent chairman of “The Youth Obnovlenie”, parliamentarian Viktor Guzun, during the grand opening of the meeting, noted that “the guys who are the best in the arts, sports and social activities are gathered here”.
The chairman of the “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction Peter Pasat, considers it especially valuable that children and adults communicate on an equal footing, learning from each other in such forums. A vivid illustration of these words was the meeting of youth activists with deputies of the Supreme Council Sergey Cheban, Mikhail Burla, Vadim Doni, Peter Pasat, Sergey Vasilyev and Oleg Vasilty.
More than an hour of dialogue turned out to be lively, informal and controversial. Young people were interested in issues of labor migration, ways to bring the economy out of crisis, support for young specialists, “social elevators” and even where children of parliamentarians live and study, how they earned and spent the first money they received.
The representative of the Russian youth organization “Young Guard of United Russia” from the Moscow region Yevgeny Yemets, who asked the first question, wondered what the Pridnestrovian state was doing to keep young people at home. As an example, he cited Russia, where such federal programs of social support as the “Zemsky Doctor”, “Zemsky Teacher” operate.
He also said that young professionals have income tax benefits. The most important thing, according to Oleg Vasilaty, is to provide young people with such a level of income so that they do not leave the republic and do not look for work abroad.
The colleague was supported by Mikhail Burla, who described the current demographic situation as catastrophic.
Mikhail Burla noted with regret that today's youth practically lacks “an installation on procreation, the main thing for them is a career”. And he cited figures: 12 thousand people were born in Pridnestrovie in 1990, in the past - 4.5 thousand.
