The state program for the development of industry should appear in Pridnestrovie. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky set this task for the Government by voicing this year's Address to the bodies of state power and administration. The state program should be not only for the entire industry, but also for each enterprise in the industry with specific goals, objectives and deadlines for implementation. The developed state program for the development of industry should be submitted for approval to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Its importance and necessity was commented on by the chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun to the parliamentary press service.
According to the deputy, Pridnestrovie has industrial potential - there are operating enterprises in the republic, there are labor resources and competitive advantages in the form of affordable energy sources.
The state will continue its policy of supporting enterprises in 2022. These are soft loans, interest rate subsidies, development programs, grants and tax preferences.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the volume of industrial production in Pridnestrovie in 2021 reached 16.6 billion rubles, or more than 1 billion USD. This is almost 1.4 times higher than in 2020 (in real terms, an increase of 11.1%). The analytical report says: positive dynamics in general was noted in 8 out of 11 industrial sectors. 68% of the total industrial output was formed by two leading industries: ferrous metallurgy and electric power industry. Almost 21% more came from food and light industry enterprises.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, there are 110 industrial enterprises of various forms of ownership in Pridnestrovie. The largest production centers are Tiraspol, Bendery and Rybnitsa.
