The day off with the family

A sports and entertainment festival was held in honor of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in the district of the Supreme Council deputy Sergey Pisarenko in Bendery. 7 families participated in competitions for speed, agility and ingenuity. Moms and dads put aside their household chores and came to the sports ground of Gorky Park to warm up, run, play and even sing songs with the whole family on Saturday.

Such leisure time on the eve of Family Day has been organized for many years by the deputy of the Supreme Council for district No. 5 Sergey Pisarenko and deputies of the Bendery City Council Sergey Semenov, Pavel Kiblik, Denis Pisarenko and Andrey Polyakov. The fifth anniversary holiday "Dad, Mom, Me - a Friendly Family" this year. The assistant to the deputy greeted the participants on behalf of the parliamentarian Sergey Pisarenko.

The holiday began with an active warm-up, then there were competitions for children, separately for parents. For example, mothers played "musical chairs", and fathers tied knots on a rope for speed. The program lasted an hour and a half. The competitions were not so much sports as fun, so that parents and children could laugh and give each other joyful emotions.

If the organizers have a tradition of organizing sports and entertainment competitions for July 8, then the tradition of the participants is not to miss them. Thus, Vladimir Malay from Bendery, despite a broken leg, was at the holiday with his family. While his wife and sons participated in the competitions, he rocked the stroller with a 10-month-old daughter.

Sports competitions united mothers, fathers and their children on Saturday morning and gave them bright memories. These are some of the main tasks that the organizers set for themselves.

After the sports and entertainment program, the deputies presented prizes to all participants: certificates for the purchase of goods in an electronics and household appliances store, as well as board games, craft kits and toys according to the children's age. The organizers treated both the participants and the support group to ice cream.

Festive programs are held throughout the republic in honor of July 8 – the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. This is part of the culture for Pridnestrovie. The holiday is dedicated to Saints Peter and Fevronia, whom Orthodox believers revere as the patrons of marriage.
