The Supreme Court of Pridnestrovie celebrated the 30th anniversary

Employees of the judiciary received congratulations, who are entrusted with a special task – to ensure the observance of the rule of law in the Palace of the Republic today. The solemn meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Supreme Court of Pridnestrovie was attended by President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Vice Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva and Chairman of the Supreme Court Adrian Penkovsky.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov noted in his welcoming address that competent consideration of cases, adherence to principles in decision-making, openness of the court is a personal contribution of employees to the formation of rule of law state and civil society in Pridnestrovie.

The Supreme Court changes with the republic. It was noted at the solemn meeting it remains the last resort in the search for justice for citizens. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva emphasized that the judicial system of Pridnestrovie is developing and close interaction between the Supreme Court and the Parliament of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic continues.

Galina Antyufeeva added that the employees of the judiciary continued to work and consider cases despite the pandemic. The Supreme Court has earned the respect of Pridnestrovians during all 30 years of activity.

The most active representatives of the judicial community were awarded state awards for their great personal contribution to the development of the judicial system of Pridnestrovie. The Order of Labor Glory, the honorary title "Honored Lawyer of the PMR" and the "Honored Worker of the PMR" badge were presented to them by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The PMR Supreme Court Judge, holder of the honorary title "Honored Lawyer of Pridnestrovie" Natalya Mamatyuk said that the most difficult thing in work is to make the right decision, and being a judge is a big responsibility.

After the solemn part, creative teams of Pridnestrovie performed for the leadership of the republic, representatives of the judiciary and guests of the event.
