The Supreme Council delivered a statement on the necessity of hostilities cessation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone

Deputies of the Supreme Council voted unanimously to adopt a statement on the necessity of hostilities cessation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

The full text of the statement was announced in the course of the plenary session by the Chairman of the Commission on Foreign Policy and International Relations, Vice-Speaker of Parliament Galina Antyufeyeva.

Deputy of the Supreme Council, member of the Commission on Foreign Policy and International Relations Andrei Safonov commented on the situation in the region at the end of the plenary session.

According to media reports, through the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, the parties reached an agreement on a complete cessation of hostilities from 13:00.

Pridnestrovian parliamentarians will continue to closely monitor developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
