The Supreme Council deputies supported in the second final reading the government's initiative to amend two laws at once – "Special Tax Regime – Patent System of Taxation" and "Special Tax Regime on Self-Employed Persons".
According to the authors of the law-in-draft, the tax authorities cannot independently distinguish between medical and non-medical massage today. The initiative proposes to fix at the legislative level a list of massage services, the implementation of which does not require the massage therapist to have a secondary specialized and higher medical education and obtain a license.
A complete list of non-medical massage services was prepared. It includes sports, oriental, Ayurvedic, fitness massage, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage, hydromassage, stone therapy, hygienic massage, including cosmetic (aesthetic) massage, face and neck massage, complex face and neck skin care, upper and lower extremities, as well as SPA massage for consideration of the law-in-draft in the second reading.
The law-in-draft was adopted in the second final reading and will be sent for signature to the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
