The Supreme Council deputies approved in the course of the plenary session the candidacy of Anatoly Guretsky for the position of the PMR Prosecutor, presented by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky.
Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Council, Head of the Legislation Committee Galina Antyufeeva focused the attention of the deputies on the long experience of Anatoly Guretsky in the prosecutor's office. He headed during his career the prosecutor's office of the Dubossary district, of Tiraspol, was the deputy prosecutor of the PMR, headed the Ministry of Justice. He served as the Prosecutor of the PMR from 2006 to 2012. Anatoly Guretsky was again appointed Prosecutor of the republic in 2016, by the Decree of the Supreme Council of the PMR.
The Vice Speaker noted the close interaction of the Legislation Committee with the PMR Prosecutor's Office and thanked Anatoly Guretsky for the joint work.
The Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic emphasized in his speech that over the past five years, legislative initiatives have been adopted that have helped to improve the work of the prosecutor's office and the entire legal system of our state in general.
Anatoly Guretsky took the oath. He will continue his activities for the next five years as the Prosecutor of Pridnestrovie.
