The Supreme Council extended the construction amnesty

03.03.2021

Pridnestrovians who have not yet registered facilities built or reconstructed in violation of the law can do so until December 31, 2022. They will not be held administratively liable for another two years. The Supreme Council extended the construction amnesty. Amendments to the law "On some additional state measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of external economic factors" were adopted in two readings today. The law-in-draft was developed by the deputies of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex and Construction in view of the fact that the law, adopted in 2016, expired at the end of last year.

The construction amnesty applies to those who, in violation of the law, erected a building on their land or carried out reconstruction. The amnesty can also be used by citizens who have acquired the right to inherit. These can be residential buildings, summer cottages, outbuildings and other objects.

It is necessary to apply to the state administration of the city or district with a statement on the application of construction amnesty. It is necessary to present a certificate of the actual indicators of the building, issued by the republican bureau of technical inventory. No architectural design required.

The procedure for the construction amnesty is determined by the regulatory legal act of the PMR Government.

The law-in-draft adopted by the Supreme Council deputies has been sent for signature to the President.
