The fee for elevator maintenance from an apartment in which no one is registered will be charged as from one registered in this apartment. Parliament adopted changes to the Housing Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the final reading. The new norms will come into force after signing by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
According to the norms of the Housing Code, fees for maintenance of elevators are calculated according to the number of registered (registered) elevators at the place of residence. There are many apartments in which no one is registered in the cities of the republic. Some of them are rented out, and more than one or even two people can live in them. They use the elevator and don't pay for it. The City Council of Bendery proposed revising the legislative norm so that enterprises that service elevators in multi-storey buildings have the financial means to repair and maintain passenger and freight elevators. The Committee on Regional Policy and Housing and Communal Services worked for several months with representatives of government authorities and elevator companies to find the optimal formula for solving the problem. The deputy corps agreed with the proposal of the relevant Committee and accepted the amendments to the Housing Code in the final reading as a result today.
The maximum tariff for the Tiraslift municipal unitary enterprise makes 20 rubles 19 kopecks per person per month, for the Benderylift municipal unitary enterprise it makes 20 rubles 93 kopecks, 18 rubles 26 kopecks per person per month for the Rybnitsalift municipal unitary enterprise in 2023 according to the Ministry of Economic Development.
