The Supreme Council supported themilitary inspectorate creation

It was decided to create a military inspection in Pridnestrovie. The new agency in the structure of the Armed Forces will ensure the protection of life, health, rights and freedoms of military personnel and maintain law and order in the troops. Legislative initiatives of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic were adopted today by parliamentarians in the second final reading. Similar rules apply in Russian legislation.

Employees of the military inspectorate will be empowered to conduct inquiries, proceedings on gross disciplinary offenses, said the representative of the Ministry of Defense on the legislations under consideration.

Law-in-draft that expands the powers of the military prosecutor, who will now be able to oversee the observance of the law by military inspectorates was adopted as part of the creation of a military inspectorate, at the suggestion of the deputies of the Committee on Legislation.

Amendments were made to a number of laws, in particular, to the laws “On the Armed Forces”, “On Defense”, “On the Status of Military Personnel”, “On Road Safety”, “On the Militia”, “On State Protection of Victims, Witnesses and Other Persons” facilitating criminal proceedings”, “On the Prosecutor’s Office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”, to the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
