The Supreme Council sends questions to the Government based on the results of work for 2023

The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic approved today the list of questions that deputies prepared for the Government based on the results of the work of the supreme executive body for 2023. As noted by the head of the parliamentary commission on mandates, regulations and parliamentary ethics Grigory Dyachenko, the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic submits a report on the activities of the previous year to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic every year.

The parliamentarians' questions touch on problems in their constituencies – replacement of windows in kindergartens and schools, replacement of ownerless water pipes, how the program for the development of recreational areas along the Dniester River is being implemented. There are also questions about the medical examination of public sector employees and other measures to realize the rights of citizens for health protection, to ensure sanitary and epidemiological well-being, etc.

The yearly reports on the results of the activities of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and answers to questions posed by the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are submitted to parliament before May 1 of the year following the reporting year according to the law.

The date of the next plenary meeting of parliament was determined today in the course of the meeting of the Presidium of the PMR Supreme Council – it is scheduled for March 20. The Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens included to agenda the legislations on amendments to the Criminal, Criminal Procedure and Criminal Executive Codes, the Code of Administrative Offenses and a number of other relevant laws, considered at the committee meeting in the first or second readings. The Legislation Committee has additionally added one issue to the agenda in the course of the plenary meeting, which will take place tomorrow, March 13.
