The Supreme Council at a plenary meeting voted to give consent to submit to court the case of bringing to trial Vladimir Pasyutin, a deputy of the fifth convocation of the Supreme Council. The Prosecutor's Office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic made a submission to Parliament.
The Commission on Mandates, Rules of Procedure and Deputy Ethics studied the materials presented by the Prosecutor's Office and found out that they do not relate to the deputy activities of Vladimir Pasyutin. The investigation accuses him of concealing the financial and economic activities of the Apricot Paradise enterprise, the director of which Vladimir Pasyutin was when he was a deputy of the fifth convocation of Parliament.
Vladimir Pasyutin was unable to attend the plenary session due to health reasons, but participated in an online meeting of the Commission on Mandates, Rules of Procedure and Deputy Ethics. The former parliamentarian does not admit his guilt and is ready to defend himself in court.
The Supreme Council decided to give consent to the Prosecutor's Office to submit the criminal case to court.
