Today's plenary session began with a solemn meeting, which was dedicated to the anniversary of the legislature of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
27 years have passed since the creation of the Supreme Council. The Pridnestrovian parliament is a peer of statehood. It developed along with the young state, the deputies created and improved the legislative base regulating all spheres of life, working for the benefit of Pridnestrovians. The history of the Pridnestrovian parliamentarism continues to be written by the deputies of the VI convocation.
Chairman Alexander Shcherba congratulated Veterans of the Pridnestrovian parliamentarism, current colleagues, and staff of the Legislative Assembly's Office on the 27th anniversary of the Supreme Council. He noted the special role of the parliament of the republic of the first people's deputies in the formation of the Pridnestrovian statehood.
In accordance with the decree of the President, Mikhail Burla was awarded the Order of Honor in the course of the solemn meeting. He is a deputy of the Supreme Council 12 years. He headed the supreme legislative body of the republic several years. Now Mikhail Burla is working at the legislature as chairman of the Committee of the Supreme Council on Education, Science and Culture.
