On behalf of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic let me congratulate you on your professional holiday - the Day of Metallurgist!

The steel industry makes a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of Pridnestrovie, strengthening its industrial potential, so one of the important tasks of government is the preservation and development of metallurgical production.

The flagship of the industry - Moldavian Metallurgical Plant - has formed a solid foundation for its activities for many years: updated production facilities, innovative technologies were introduced, trained specialists, thanks to which Moldavian Metallurgical Plant is recognized as one of the best in Central and Eastern Europe.

Unfortunately, the economic crisis has adversely affected the work of the enterprise and set metallurgists in difficult conditions.

I am sure that the joint efforts of the state and all the workers of metallurgical industry will be able to get out of difficult situations, survive the recession and resume normal operation of the plant.
