24.04.2021

Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Artem Turov accompanied from Moscow the Russian vaccine "Sputnik V", allocated to Pridnestrovie as humanitarian aid. It arrived in the republic today. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva and coordinator of Rossotrudnichestvo projects in Pridnestrovie Nikolay Zhuravlev took part in the conversation that took place at the site of the Administration of the PMR President.

According to the press service of the PMR President, Vadim Krasnoselsky once again thanked the Russians, the Russian President Vladimir Putin for their help, noting that the arrival of Sputnik V is a long-awaited event. Artem Turov, in turn, noted the participation in the implementation of this humanitarian project of the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, the Head of the United Russia Duma faction Sergei Neverov and other parliamentarians who represent the interests of compatriots living in Pridnestrovie.

It was in the course of the meeting that the Sputnik V vaccine had already been recognized by many states. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that vaccination in our republic is voluntary and free. There are a large number of people who want to be vaccinated in Pridnestrovie. Pridnestrovians who have undergone a full course of vaccination with the drugs "AstraZeneca" and "Pfizer" receive the corresponding certificates, approved by the WHO sample. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky considers that a similar mechanism for obtaining an official document is necessary in relation to Sputnik V. The Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology must be authorized to issue passports to those who have been vaccinated. Artem Turov assured that he would raise this issue immediately upon his return to Moscow.
