Vadim Kravchuk, "The task of the Moldavian authorities is to stop, to destroy our economic potential"

Two industrial flagships of the Pridnestrovian economy are idle in the city of Rybnitsa – the Moldovan Metallurgical Plant and the Cement Plant of Rybnitsa due to the lack of gas supplies. These are budget-forming enterprises for Pridnestrovie. The situation is catastrophic for both the city and the republic, said Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy Vadim Kravchuk, who is the Supreme Council Deputy for Rybnitsa constituency No. 14 "Metallurgical".

The downtime of enterprises is a forced downtime, which they were sent to not by the city administration, not by the republic's administration, but by the decision of the authorities of the neighboring Republic of Moldova, said Vadim Kravchuk.

The enterprises in Rybnitsa are down. More than 2 thousand people are left without work. The enterprise management pays them 2/3 of their salary. Residents of Rybnitsa are worried about how they will continue to support their families and raise children, says Vadim Kravchuk.

The Government on the instructions of the President is working to soften the financial burden of electricity costs for people who heat themselves with electric radiators and cook food on electric stoves currently. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about this in the course of briefing for journalists on the 15th of January.
