Vadim Krasnoselsky, “Personal participation and personal responsibility of each official is necessary”

The main tasks for the current year and future perspectives - this is the main topic of the extended meeting with the President of the republic with the heads of state authorities and administrations. A meeting in this format at the beginning of the year has already become traditional.

For the current year, the list of voiced specific instructions is 170. They are addressed to every ministry, department, public service. Tasks were also set for lawmakers. Therefore, the invitees included the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, his deputy Galina Antyufeeva, and all members of the presidium of the legislature of the republic.

Pridnestrovie has been following the provisions of the Development Strategy for 2019–2026 of Pridnestrovie for more than a year. The main goal and principles of development of our republic remain political stability, economic self-sufficiency and social justice, formed on the ideology of Pridnestrovie. It is precisely on these principles that the President, the PMR Government, the Supreme Council, the judiciary and other state bodies are based and should continue to line up their activities, the President emphasized.

Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that 2020 is a special year for Pridnestrovie. This is the year of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the 30th anniversary of the republic. This year, on a single voting day, November 29, elections will be held for deputies of the Supreme and local Soviets, chairmen of the Soviets - heads of administrations of villages and towns.

This year is also declared the Year of Health. This year, a strategic document should be adopted that affects the interests of each resident of the republic - the Pridnestrovian Healthcare Concept. The President set the task of reviewing the wage system for workers in this area, continuing to equip medical facilities with modern equipment and the practice of treating Pridnestrovians outside the republic. Moreover, as emphasized by Vadim Krasnoselsky, "human life cannot be measured in rubles".

22 healthcare facilities will be built and renovated this year with funds from the Investment Fund - another task set by the President.

The President divided all the tasks for the current year into three large blocks under the names Political Stability, Economic Self-Sufficiency, and Social Justice.

The general list contains a wide range of specific and clear tasks. The Supreme Council, together with the Government, will have to form a legal framework governing the tourism sector. Attraction of tourists is an important direction outlined in the state target program “Support and development of tourism in the PMR for 2019–2026”, adopted by the Supreme Council in 2019. It was developed for 7 years and is designed to solve two main problems - to improve the quality of tourism products and increase the tourist attractiveness of Pridnestrovie in the domestic and international markets.

In addition, they require improvement of the norms of the current law “On Telecommunications”. Vadim Krasnoselsky set the task to analyze how the law on public procurement works and, if necessary, develop standards that improve the mechanism prescribed by law.

During the spring session, deputies were instructed to adopt a decree of the Supreme Council on amnesty in connection with the upcoming anniversaries of the Great Victory and the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
