Celebrations in honor of Victory Day continued at the Memorial of Glory. The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky and parliamentarians. Fresh flowers were laid at the Eternal Flame, the graves of Soviet soldiers and defenders of Pridnestrovie.
After flowers laying the march column "Immortal regiment" continued on the main street of Tiraspol. The speaker of parliament took part in it. Vadim Krasnoselsky walked in the common column with a photo of his grandfather - Vasily Ivanovich. The Red Soldier Krasnoselsky was drafted into the Red Army in January 1944. He distinguished himself in the battle of Sevastopol, where he was wounded, but remained in the ranks. He was awarded the medal "For Courage". Vasily Ivanovich Krasnoselsky met Victorious May in Austria.
