Vadim Krasnoselsky, "We demand the execution of the laws"

22.06.2016

Deputy Anton Onufrienko in the course of the plenary meeting read the statement of a group of citizens who have expressed concern about the violation of the sovereignty and independence of PMR, which was, in their opinion, with the signing in 2012 by the President an agreement with the Prime Minister of Moldova, by which in Rybnitsa and Bender were placed Moldovan customs posts. The deputies of the 6th convocation of the Supreme Council adopted a resolution and sent this information to the Investigative Committee and the KGB with the inquiry to check: Does these actions contain crimes of officials?

However, further correspondence of the law leadership of the Supreme Council with the enforcement agencies revealed that the latter were ignored by legislators and request verification of the message itself and the decision taken by the parliament. The Investigative Committee didn’t investigate, and the State Security Committee refused to open a criminal case. After that, the Supreme Council sent 5 of official letters with the request to send to the supreme legislative body a copy of the decision on refusal to initiate criminal proceedings. Silence is in response.

Deputy Oleg Petrik provided during today's plenary session the information that the KGB hid from the registration the statement of parliamentarians, thus violating the rules of criminal procedure legislation.

This situation was commented by Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky.
