Vadim Krasnoselsky, "Electoral base remains, and people leave the republic"

During the plenary the deputies of the Supreme Council considered the initiative of parliamentarians Igor Buga and Andrei Safonov on amendments to the Electoral Code. It has been proposed to reduce to recognize the election of the President of PMR valid turnout threshold of 25% of the voters included in the electoral lists at the time of voting.

The bill was adopted by the deputies in the first reading. The Parliament Speaker Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed point of view on the initiative of colleagues. He made "responsibility to the people" the cornerstone during the discussion of the legislative innovations of paramount importance.
