The President of Pridnestrovie Vadim Krasnoselsky, after journalists celebrated professional holidays, gathered them in the House of official receptions in order to speak frankly about the situation in the republic, public sentiments. The chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, his deputy Galina Antyufeeva, the head of the parliamentary committee for public associations, sports, information and youth policy Igor Buga took part in an almost two-hour conversation.

He began with presenting of state awards to distinguished journalists. After that, the President suggested that representatives of the media immediately ask questions. They did not keep themselves waiting. One of the most urgent for today: when reports on growth of industrial production, export, volume of tax payments will affect the level of incomes of citizens?

Before giving an answer about specific terms of improving the welfare of the residents of the republic, Vadim Krasnoselsky suggested journalists to recall the situation on January 1, 2017.

Even in such a difficult situation, according to the head of the republic, the Supreme Council adopted a law-in-draft on a monthly surcharge of 100 rubles to non-working pensioners who receive a pension below the subsistence level. About a third of the salaries of employees of specialized (correctional) schools was increased.

Vadim Krasnoselsky particularly focused on the adoption by the parliament of laws aimed at state support of investment activities. This is very timely, taking into account that last year the volume of investment in the economy of the country decreased by 34%.

Vadim Krasnoselsky said that he invited the ambassadors of the EU countries to visit Pridnestrovie for acquaintance with the new investment legislation and investment projects. The task is to show our industrial and agrarian potential. In June, the firm Fialt-Agro, headed by a deputy of the Supreme Council Sergei Pisarenko, will open a mini dairy factory in Parkany with a capacity of 30 tons of milk a day. It will employ 60 people. An oil extraction plant will be built in the same village and at the same time.

Answering one of the questions, the head of state described both the constructive interaction of the Supreme Council and the government. When making important, fateful decisions, it is necessary to observe the balance, to find the "golden mean", he believes. It is necessary to arrive at a consensus for the sake of achieving state goals.

The president on has shown actual examples, that it was already possible to make for the decision of problems of Pridnestrovians. This is the apostille of the CCP diplomas, neutral license plates for cars, the solution of other issues related to the telecommunications sphere, the functioning of Moldovan schools on the territory of Pridnestrovie with teaching on the Latin schedule, the use of Moldovan farmers in the Dubossary district.

Vadim Krasnoselsky at the end of the meeting said that the deputy of the Supreme Council Igor Buga will head the united youth movement of patriotic orientation "The Heirs of Victory".

In the opinion of Vice Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva, it is necessary to meet more often in such a format and in an informal atmosphere to discuss pressing problems.
