Vadim Krasnoselsky, "Without language there is no nation and no state without nation"

There are more than 120 centers of the Russky Mir in the world. One of them was opened on the basis of Pridnestrovian State University named after Shevchenko in 2009. Russian center conducts major research, educational work. There are numerous events at its base - conference, devoted to studying the Russian language in Pridnestrovie, round tables, competitions, contests for students, meetings with representatives of Russian science and culture.

An important event was the meeting of pedagogical high school community with the deputy chairman of the board of "The Russky Mir" Foundation, the pro-rector of St. Petersburg University, Sergey Bogdanov. During the meeting, organized by the members of the Supreme Council, encyclopedic dictionary "Russian language" was donated to the school principal university of the republic. It was noted that the dictionary arrive also in the school of the republic. The Russian guest called this edition a unique educational resource. Leading experts of St. Petersburg State University, as well as linguists from Moscow conducted work on it was for about 8 years. School encyclopedic dictionary was published in 2014 in an edition of 15 thousand copies. The publication contains about 2500 terms, more than 600 articles. The dictionary included a teaching aid. "We share with you the best of what we have", - said Sergey Bogdanov. Vice-rector of the University of St. Petersburg urged his colleagues to take part in the III International Pedagogical Forum to be held this year in the Olympic capital of Russia.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Russia thanked the guest for a gift for the country's educational institutions.
