Representatives of the State Reserve Fund, the Supreme Council and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic discussed with businessmen from Bendery questions of concessional lending and answered all their questions. The owners of peasant farms, representatives of small business, and individual entrepreneurs took part in the conversation. Among them - engaged in animal husbandry, horticulture, the production of meat and dairy, fish products, sunflower oil, semi-frozen products, furniture manufacturers, as well as those who are still thinking how and where to start business.
Member of the Council of the State Reserve Fund, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry Vadim Doni recalled the law "On the State Reserve Fund in the PMR" adopted by parliamentarians and the transformed lending mechanism.
Deputy head of the profile parliamentary committee recalled that preferential loans for the development of entrepreneurship and agribusiness were already issued in 2008-2011 from the funds of Russian humanitarian aid. Totally, 514 million Russian rubles were allocated to support entrepreneurs. Large land users were able to purchase new equipment for the period of the program, upgrade the fleet, and build gardens.
In accordance with the changes introduced into the current law, beginning entrepreneurs will be able to receive up to 10 thousand dollars at 6% per annum, if they invest 10% of their own funds in the business. For those wishing to develop the current production, the maximum loan amount will be 50 thousand dollars. The interest rate is 6% per annum for up to three years. In this case, the entrepreneurs must invest 20% of their own funds in the business.
According to the Director of the Foundation Natalia Balan, loans will be issued on a competitive basis. All priority lending directions (and there are 15 of them) are listed on the website of the State Reserve Fund.
The issues raised by the entrepreneurs concerned a wide range of aspects. For example, the entrepreneur Faina Sporish, engaged in the production of fish products, was interested in the conditions for the purchase of equipment.
Peter Korotash, who is engaged in growing plants for landscape design, plans to take a loan to expand his plot. The former director of the Bendery port wants to take up the revival of water tourism. The plans are to restore the ship.
