The issues of housing and communal services, regional development and local self-government will again be considered by a separate committee. Previously, these areas were under jurisdiction of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry and Transport. This decision was taken at the beginning of the work of the deputies of the VII convocation. Then the number of committees was reduced from 8 to 5. Today the parliamentarians decided to resume the work of the committee on regional policy at the plenary session.
Deputy Ruslan Gareev was elected the Head of the new committee; now he works in the Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media. The new, sixth parliamentary committee includes deputies Anton Onufrienko and Boris German.
The deputies adopted the relevant draft resolutions “On the structure of the PMR Supreme Council and the Office of the PMR Supreme Council of the VII convocation” and “On amendments and additions to the Resolution of the PMR Supreme Council “On the numerical and personal composition of the committees and commissions of the PMR Supreme Council of the VII convocation”. The documents come into force on October 1 this year.
