The Reserve Funds of the PMR President and the PMR Government have been increased in the context of the state of emergency

The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic supported in two readings the President's initiative to amend and supplement the law "On the Republican Budget for 2024".

First of all, the limits of the Reserve Fund of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic have been increased by 2.4 million rubles. This will make it possible to promptly respond to negative situations in the economy, finance the costs of measures to prevent and eliminate the consequences associated with the emergence of situations that require an immediate response.

In connection with the introduction of state of emergency in the republic, amendments were prepared for the second reading of the law-in-draft, which will allow the Government to promptly solve unscheduled tasks and ensure stability in the face of possible crises. The limits of the Reserve Fund of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic were increased by 6 million rubles for these purposes.

Additional funds will be used to purchase generators, create reserves of fuel and lubricants, repair socially significant facilities and prepare for possible consequences of the current instability, the head of the relevant Committee added.

The deputies adopted amendments that give the Government the authority to limit the adoption of new budgetary obligations and changes in accepted budgetary obligations by the main administrators of funds, as well as financing the expenses of budgets at various levels until the end of the year as part of the second reading of the law-in-draft. This will allow concentrating resources on priority areas and forming a financial reserve for fulfilling social obligations.

These measures according to him will help the state meet possible difficulties with maximum readiness.
