The Winners of International and Republican Competitions were awarded in Tiraspol

Pridnestrovian schoolchildren took part in the drawing competition "Towards the Stars" on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the first manned space flight. The organizer is the Obnovlenie (Renewal) Republican Party. More than 700 children from all over Pridnestrovie took part. 33 students were named the best. Deputies of the Supreme Council presented diplomas to the winners from Tiraspol and Bendery today in the Palace of the Republic. Participants from other cities will receive local awards.

The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament added that the children's drawings were included in the booklet, which was published with the support of the President and timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight. Teachers of the children's art School Foinitsky and the School of Arts named after Rachmaninov were also awarded.

The Pridnestrovian young men are annual participants of the International Bulgarian-Russian Competition "Together in the XXI Century". In 2020, more than a thousand children from Bulgaria, Russia, Moldova, and Pridnestrovie took part in it. 120 children from our republic participated. They sent essays, media presentations, poems, essays, drawings. The works dealt with the history, customs and traditions of the Bulgarian people, as well as devoted to the respect for nature.

The largest village outside Bulgaria in terms of the number of Bulgarians is located in Pridnestrovie - this is Parkany. Village school No.1 carefully collects the traditions of the Bulgarian people, songs, poems, customs. Students have been participating in an international competition for many years. It is conducted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Bulgaria, the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Bulgaria with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation. The competition is organized by the "Future of Pridnestrovie" Foundation in our republic. Over 800 children have taken part in it for five years. The Chairman of the Supreme Council, President of the Foundation Alexander Korshunov was awarded the Certificate of Honor on behalf of the “Sustainable Development of Bulgaria”.

According to the Parliament Speaker, the competition helps to value friendship, good neighborly relations, to know history and its lessons.

Children from all over the republic took part in the competition "Together in the XXI century". The winners were presented with awards today, and Rossotrudnichestvo donated books.
