The voting is taking place in Russia

In fact, the United voting day started in Russia at 23:00 Moscow time on Saturday, September 8, when polling stations opened in Kamchatka and Chukotka will end at ten o'clock in the evening, when the sites in Moscow are closed. The time for voting in the capital, which on September 9 elects the mayor, this year was extended by two hours.

Totally about five thousand elections of different levels take place. There are direct elections of heads in 22 regions, voting for the composition of local Legislative Assemblies - in 16. The elections are held in the State Duma in seven single-mandate constituencies. Totally 65 million people appear in the voter lists.

On the eve of the voting day, the CEC of Russia reported: everything is ready for the procedure. For the third time the "Mobile voter" system will work, when you can vote not at the place of residence, but on any convenient site. The Moscow authorities have set up places for voting even in holiday villages. They are located in the Moscow, Kaluga, Tula and Vladimir regions. As Alexander Klyukin, member of the CEC of the Russian Federation, informed, about 9 thousand people voted at polling stations located on ships on the high seas.

Exactly at 8 am, polling stations for additional elections of deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation opened in Pridnestrovie. Russian compatriots cast their votes for the candidates to the deputies of the federal parliament of the seventh convocation for single-mandate electoral districts No. 165 "Balashov single-mandate constituency of the Saratov region" and No. 98 "Central single-mandate electoral district of the Kaliningrad region".

Citizens of Russia can vote in three single-member constituencies. They are located in Tiraspol (secondary school No. 12, Yunosty Street, 38), in Dnestrovsk (Energetik Palace, Stroiteley Street, 19) and Dubossary (MU "Social Assistance Service of Dubossary District", Dzerzhinsky Street, 4a).

The polling stations will be open until 20:00.
