The name of one of the founders of the republic was immortalized in Rybnitsa

The name of one of the founders of the PMR, deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR of the 1st-5th convocations, director of the MMZ Anatoly Belitchenko was immortalized in Rybnitsa, on the eve of Metallurgist's Day. 

A solemn ceremony of opening a memorial plaque to the honorary citizen of the city Anatoly Belitchenko on the building of Rybnitsa school No. 10, which is located in the microdistrict of metallurgists took place. He headed the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant for 20 years, since 1985. Thanks to him, the volume of production at the plant has increased, the range of products has expanded, and its quality has increased. Anatoly Konstantinovich always paid special attention to the development of the social sphere at the same time. The Valchenko microdistrict, kindergartens and schools were built Under his leadership, including school No. 10, which was always provided with material and technical support.

The solemn event was attended by the deputies of the Supreme Council - Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva, General Director of CJSC Kvint Oleg Baev, deputy from Metallurgical constituency No. 14 Vadim Kravchuk and deputy from Michurinsky constituency No. 16 Yakov Galak, as well as chairman of the Council of People's deputies Vadim Lozovsky, general director of MMZ Sergey Kornev, wife and children of Anatoly Konstantinovich, teachers of the school.

A bas-relief of Anatoly Belitchenko was opened at the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant later. His fellow metallurgists shared their memories of the outstanding leaders, flowers were laid at the foot of the monument.

Anatoly Belitchenko passed away in February 2021. He was 83 years old.
