The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic adopted a resolution according to which a state target program will be developed for the implementation of the “Electronic Legal Proceedings in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” Unified Automated System.
The resolution provides for the creation of a special commission, which will include representatives of the President, the Supreme Council, the Government, the courts and a number of departments. The goal of the initiative is to improve the quality of the judicial system, respect the rule of law and minimize possible discrepancies in judicial practice.
The development and implementation of such a judicial system in the Russian Federation took about 10 years. The “Electronic Legal Proceedings in the PMR” Unified Automated System is planned to be launched in a shorter time in Pridnestrovie. The Commission under the Supreme Council will have to determine the functioning mechanism and sources of financing of the state program for the implementation of the new electronic system.
All authorities and courts specified in the resolution must send information about the representatives delegated to the commission to the Supreme Council by April 19.
