An online plenary meeting will be held at the Supreme Council on the 8th of April. Deputies will consider the agenda in the format of a Skype conference. Such a decision was made in the course of the meeting today by members of the Presidium. This is due to the state of emergency. It was extended until May 1 for the non-proliferation of coronavirus infection in the republic.
The main issue of tomorrow's plenary meeting is the law-in-draft “On state support during the state of emergency 2020”. The document was adopted in the first reading in the course of the plenary meeting on April 1. Tomorrow, the Parliament will consider the law-in-draft in the second final reading. According to parliamentarians the adoption of the document is extremely important in the state of emergency. Thanks to the new law, state support will be provided to citizens, small and medium-sized businesses and large enterprises.
Deputies of the Supreme Council took part in development of these anti-crisis measures. Parliamentarians, together with members of the Government, representatives of the business and banking communities, were part of a working group to minimize economic losses. Joint group meetings were held regularly. The opinions of all interested parties were taken into account.
In addition, tomorrow deputies will consider changes to the state program for the execution of voters' orders for this year in the course of the plenary meeting. The amendments are corrective.
