Deputies of the Supreme Council of the PMR made a decision to create a budget fund from which all measures to combat the spread of coronavirus infection will be financed on March 24, at a plenary session. Amendments to the law "On the republican budget for 2021" were made.
The reserve of slightly more than 9 million rubles was laid down to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the budget for 2021. The epidemiological situation with coronavirus is only getting worse. According to forecasts of the Ministry of Health and the Government, the pledged funds may not be enough. More than 300 million rubles were spent last year. The Supreme Council together with the Government redistributed the revenues and expenses of the state treasury in order to find money to fight the new infection in the midst of the "first wave" of COVID-19.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky signed amendments to the law "On the republican budget for 2021" adopted by the Parliament, which prescribe the creation of a budget fund to combat the spread of COVID-19. They entered into force on the 31st of March.
