The "#ВПраве" Republican research competition for young people is being held in Pridnestrovie

The "#ВПраве" Republican research competition for young people has been held in Pridnestrovie since October 28, in which anyone can offer their idea for a legislative initiative. The organizer of the competition was the public movement "Civil Initiative" with the support of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Pridnestrovian Human Rights Center under the Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie.

The Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov met with the organizers of the competition on the eve of the 34th anniversary of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic today.

Chairman of the public movement "Civil Initiative" Yuri Kasumyan said that one of the main goals of the competition is to attract young people to public administration and develop legal culture among young people.

Yuri Kasumyan added that the competition will be held in three rounds. Experts will evaluate the participants' work in the first absentee round. Specialists will help the contestants turn their research projects into legislative initiatives in the second round. The third final round will be held in the plenary session hall of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The best works will be presented to the jury at the final conference.

The best works will be included in the collection of legislative initiatives based on the results of the competition.

Speaker of the parliament Alexander Korshunov noted that the results of the competition will be summed up next year, 2025, which has been declared the Year of the Pridnestrovian People.

Alexander Korshunov noted that the jury will definitely include deputies and employees of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Pridnestrovians aged 14 to 35 who want to try their hand at lawmaking can take part in the competition. You can choose the rights of citizens, economics and taxes, social policy and health care, education, science, culture and others as a topic for research. Works are accepted until December 13.
