Today, congratulations from Russian parliamentarians were received by veterans living in the Zapadny microdistrict of Tiraspol. Valuable gifts from deputies of the State Duma to front-line soldiers of Tiraspol were handed over by the Deputy chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva, and the Deputy of the Tiraspol City Council Irina Bondarenko.
The vice-speaker of the parliament conveyed to the veterans congratulations from deputies of the United Russia faction Artem Turov, Sergey Neverov, Alexander Yaroshchuk and Sergey Chizhov. Galina Antyufeyeva wished the Pridnestrovians, participants of the Great Patriotic War, health, good spirits and thanked them for their feat of arms, peaceful work, and devotion to the Fatherland.
Galina Antyufeyeva noted that an agreement exists between the Renewal and United Russia parties, according to which Russian colleagues support Pridnestrovie. Particular attention is paid to veterans, widows and war veterans.
Deputy of the Supreme Council Yuri Kucherenko today also handed over material assistance to veterans in his constituency in Bendery. Totally, assistance from Russian parliamentarians will be received by 19 veterans and participants of the Great Patriotic War from Bendery and veteran from Protyagailovka.
Deputies of the Supreme Council, representatives of local authorities and volunteers of the “We are near” headquarters also give valuable gifts from Russian deputies to participants in the military operations of 1941-1945 in other cities and regions.
