National Security Concept was adopted in Pridnestrovie

The National Security Concept was adopted in Pridnestrovie. It includes 13 sections. The main directions of the work of state institutions of power in this area are prescribed: political, military, state, economic, food, social security. The main goal is to protect society and the state from internal and external threats, which will promote the development of the republic. The draft Concept was sent by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Deputies of the Supreme Council supported the document in the final reading. The concept will become the basis for optimal interaction of state authorities, organizations and public associations to protect the national interests of the republic.

The concept of national security was developed as part of the implementation of the PMR Development Strategy for 2019–2026. One of the main directions of ensuring the political security of the republic is the implementation of foreign policy activities focused on the recognition of Pridnestrovie, on the Eurasian integration, strengthening the international authority of the state. Among the directions of work in this area is bringing to the wide circles of the world community objective information about the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and its position.
