"Book of Memory of Those Killed in Defense of the Fatherland" will soon appear in Pridnestrovie, in which everyone will be able to find information about the heroes who gave their lives in battles for the Motherland.

The regulation on the creation of a "Book of Memory" in the republic was adopted back in 2019, when the law "On perpetuating the memory of those killed in defense of the Fatherland" was adopted. However, since then, there have been discussions about what form it will be presented in for several years.

The deputy corps considered in the course of today's plenary session the law-in-draft of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, which proposes to clarify the procedure for the creation and use of the "Book of Memory". The Chairman of the relevant Committee noted that the amendments to the law developed by the President will make the "Book of Memory" publicly available. The Ministry of Defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic will control its creation and use at the same time. The deputies supported at the plenary session the initiative of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the first reading. Work on the law-in-draft will continue in the relevant parliamentary Committee, taking into account all the comments and suggestions made.
