The presidential law-in-draft that concerns the extension of the period of validity of a number of legislative acts aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection in the territory of Pridnestrovie is included to the agenda of the online plenary meeting. The document was received in the mode of legislative necessity. It is connected with the fact that on December 16 the period of validity of restrictive quarantine measures expires. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky proposes to extend them until February 1, 2021 inclusive.
According to the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of the pandemic, coronavirus has been confirmed in 13105 people. Every day there are more and more cases, the increase in statistics is associated, among other things, with the expansion of the circle of test subjects.
A state of emergency was introduced on March 17due to the pandemic of the coronavirus in Pridnestrovie. The state of emergency lasted until June 15, then quarantine restrictive measures were introduced, their effect was repeatedly extended. This is a mask regime, observance of social distance, fines for violation of quarantine, a special order of crossing the border, and others. Members of the Operational Headquarters are sure that extension of quarantine restrictions will reduce the spread of COVID-19 among the population and protect the health and lives of the citizens of Pridnestrovie.
The parliamentarians voted for the adoption of the PMR President's law-in-draft in two readings at once. The document has been sent for signature to the President.
