11.07.2017

The closing plenary session of the spring session will be held July 12. The agenda includes more than 20 issues, including a package of legislations regulating the activities of the prosecutor's office. The deputy corps will consider the legislative initiatives sent by President Vadim Krasnoselsky in the second reading. Amendments are made to the Constitution, the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as to a number of other normative and legal acts. The proposed draft laws are designed to distinguish between the functions of prosecutorial supervision and preliminary investigation. As the Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba noted, the proposed norms are necessary for a clear and uniform interaction of law enforcement agencies. The draft laws have been developed within the framework of harmonization with Russian legislation.

Within the framework of the upcoming plenary session, parliamentarians will consider a law-in-draft, drafted by the head of the parliamentary committee on Education, Science and Culture Mikhail Burla. The purpose of amendments to the law "On Education" is to allow military schools to combine general education programs with supplementary education programs. The law-in-draft proposes to grant pupils of Suvorov school the right to free travel in urban, suburban and interregional transport.

A number of legislations were submitted by the members of the Presidium to the autumn session. Among them – there is draft law "On non-profit organizations". The work on the document was started by deputies of the previous convocation. The draft laws are designed to regulate the functioning of non-commercial organizations in our republic, the procedure for their registration, bringing to responsibility for violation of the legislation in this part.
